A Small School in an Urban Center
Located in the heart of downtown San Diego, Cortez Hill Academy (CHA) is a small school with no more than 300 exceptional students. Each graduating class in the College-prep program is only 60 students, while the Flex program is capped at 50. Our 290 students come from all over San Diego County. Only steps away from the trolley and bus lines, students have an easy commute from all over San Diego’s neighborhoods and the South Bay.
CHA’s charter is designed to present a person-centered, liberal arts education to underprivileged and underperforming students. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, rigorous academic environment where students can learn about the world and about themselves.
