Art Fundamentals (One year course – Grades 9, 10. Prerequisite: none)
This basic art course is a required course for graduation It combines art history, developing technique and art production at the beginning level.

Art Exploration (One year course - Grades 10, 11 or 12. Prerequisites: Introduction to Art.)
This is an exploratory course and serves as a basis for higher level courses in high school art. Students experience great works of art through slide-illustrated lectures, field trips to museums, and class discussions. A broad survey of art historically as well as the implications of art for each individual is provided. An emphasis is placed on beginning drawing, painting, design and aesthetics.
