5. Review period
for all new students:
We realize that CORTEZ HILL ACADEMY’s learning program and
expectations for personal responsibility are significantly different
than those in traditional school settings from which most students
come. Therefore it has been our experience that a review process
at the end of the first 30 days and then again at the end of each
contract period (usually 6 weeks) helps the student, the parents
and the school staff to determine the suitability of this program
for the student. If we discover that for any reason this is not
a fit for a student, this review process gives all of us the opportunity
to make new arrangements without a negative impact on the student’s
educational career.
